The Mares Dual Adjustable 62X regulator features two High Pressure ports and four Low Pressure ports plus two Dynamic flow control ports. This design feature minimises any pressure that drops when diving during inhalation, which maximises air delivery.
The Mares 62x first stage also features an Auto sealing system (AST) keeping the first stage dry, without affecting performance of the regulator whilst in use.
The second stage is the new Dual Adjustable regulator. Made from an ultra light techno polymer that is abrasion resistant and ideal for diving in moderate and warm waters.
The VAD (Vortex assisted design) is a small bypass tube that delivers air to the mouthpiece creating a vortex with a low pressure area in the centre that keeps the diaphragm down during inhalation for a sensitive breath every time. This light weight second stage comes with a comfortable silicone mouthpiece and a large purge button that is suitable for all divers.

MARES ULTRA OCCY: The Octopus Ultra includes Mares' Twin Power system and, made from technopolymer, it is lightweight. To be used in a set up with the Ultra regulator.
Designed for use with the Mares Ultra Regulator Series is a unique Vortex Assist Design (VAD) system. The air bypass tube conveys air to the mouthpiece creating a swirling vortex with a low-pressure area in the centre this keeps the diaphragm down during inhalation, giving very sensitive and easy breathing at all depths.
