The 2027 Jones Frontier 2.0 is an all new version of the fan favourite Frontier and has been given a new shape to make it even more versatile than ever. The softer flex and tapered directional camber allows you to fully enjoy this board from day one all over the mountain. It carves groomers and floats in powder with ease, all while being nice and easy to control so you can find your feet while exploring the entire mountain.

• Board Type: All Mountain-Freeride - All Mountain 10/10 - All Mountain snowboards are versatile boards that excel across various terrains, from groomed runs to off-piste. These boards offer solid edge control and responsiveness, making them a great option for riders who want one board to do just about everything.
  Powder 9/10 - Freeride snowboards are built for steeper, off-piste terrain. These boards are ideal for aggressive riding and usually for more advanced riders. 
  Freestyle 6/10

• Flex: 4/10 (1=soft, 10=stiff) - Offering a balanced blend of flexibility and stiffness, mid-flex boards are versatile and suitable for all-mountain riding. They provide enough responsiveness for carving while maintaining some forgiveness for playful or casual riding.
• Ability Level: Beginner-Intermediate - A beginner snowboard is softer, lighter, and more stable, making it easier to control and manoeuvre while learning basic skills like turning and stopping.
  Intermediate snowboards offer more responsiveness and stability at higher speeds, with a slightly stiffer flex for better control on varied terrain and more advanced manoeuvres.
• Shape: Tapered Directional with Medium 3D Contour Base - A tapered directional snowboard features a shape where the tail is narrower than the nose, providing enhanced control and stability in deeper snow. This design improves floatation in powder and allows for smoother turns, making it ideal for freeride and backcountry riding. While it excels in one direction, the taper helps the board naturally guide you through challenging conditions.
• An all-terrain 3D Contour Base with a 4mm spoon bevel in the nose and up to 4mm in the tail, starting just before the contact points.
• Camber Type: Directional Camber/Rocker - Jones' Directional Camber/Rocker profile incorporates camber throughout the body of the board with rocker in the nose. This keeps the board nice and responsive and powerful while enhancing float and manoeuvrability in deep snow, perfect for freeriding or in powder. 
   
• Width: Standard, Wide
  Standard width boards deliver exceptional edge-to-edge quickness and responsiveness while providing enough platform space for riders with average boot sizes.
  Wide boards are for those with large boot sizes and provide extra flotation, reduced drag, and never feel clunky or cumbersome underfoot.
• Inserts: 2x4 Inserts - These offer a tighter hole pattern, allowing for more precise stance adjustments. They're common on modern boards and ideal for riders who want fine-tuned positioning and can be used with any binding with a standard or mini disk.
• Topsheet: Premium Topsheet - Jones' Premium Topsheet is a durable and scratch resistant topsheet, perfect for daily use.
• Laminate: Biax Fiberglass with Bio Resin - A dual-layer, multi-directional fiberglass laminate created for a lively yet forgiving ride, offering a balanced blend of mid-soft torsional flex and responsive energy transfer.
• This plant based resin is more environmentally friendly than traditional petroleum based epoxy that has unmatched bonding properties for increased performance and less weight.
• Core: Master Core - The Master Core is made of 1:1 Poplar to Paulownia ratio in alternating stringers to create a lightweight, poppy, and durable core.
• Sidewall: Recycled ABS Sidewalls - Jones makes their sidewalls out of a recycled ABS material with a round finish. This increases durability by deflecting impact away from the sidewall preventing chipping and cracks.
• Edge: Recycled Edges - Made of recycled German steel, these bombproof edges are made to be the strongest and longest lasting on the market.
• Base: Sintered 8000 Base - A top-tier sintered base that’s incredibly fast, soaks up wax for lasting glide, easy to repair, and built for unmatched durability.

• Factory Tuned - All Jones board come detuned in the tip and tail and ready to ride from the factory.
• WEND Natural Wax - All Jones boards are factory waxed with a natural wax, ready to ride as soon as you hit the mountain.
• Forever Flex - By overbuilding snowboards, Jones use a process in the factory to ‘break in’ the board to mimic 20 days ridden.
• Traction Tech - Traction Tech enhances edge grip with strategically placed contact points, giving your board a firm, reliable hold on the snow—just like a serrated knife.
