PADI Advanced Open Water

Are you a qualified open water diver and want to further your diving experience?

Then the adventures in diving program is for you. Take your diving education to the next level with an advanced scuba diving cousre.

The PADI Advanced courses consist of 5 dives, usually completed over 2 days and one evening for the night dive.

Upon completing the PADI Advanced Open Water Course you will be qualified to dive to a depth of 30m, with a buddy anywhere in the world.

You will need to complete 5 dives to be certiified as a PADI Advanced Open Water diver.

Compulsory Dives

• Deep Dive – Dive to a maximum depth of 30m, and learn the safety procedures
• Navigation Dive – Be shown more skill using a compass, and natural navigation

Elective Dives

• Peak Performance Dive – Improve and learn more about your buoyancy
• Search & Recovery – Lost Something? Let’s find it and bring it to the surface
• Underwater Naturalist – What is that? Learn to identify aquatic vertebrates and invertebrates

Each of these dives can be credited towards the PADI SPECIALTY

Let us know if you have a different elective in mind. Our instructors can teach a wide range of electives and we would be happy to discuss your circumstance.

Course Options - (Additional $140)

• Double Boat Dive – Our combined Deep Dive & Boat Elective Dive will get you familiar with all you need to know when diving from a boat. It's perfect preparation for that next diving day trip or dive holiday

Course Outline

• Completed the PADI e-learning online
• Saturday 3 dives
• Sunday 2 dives
• Minimum Age: 15 years 
• Open Water Course
• Maximum Depth: 30m

• What you need to bring with you:

• Swimming costume and towel
• All your Scuba Gear
• Compass for Navigation dive
• Surface Marker Buoy (SMB) – Boat Dive Elective
• Dive knife/tool
• Completed PADI e-learning online
• Proof of your Open Water Diver qualification

What is included:

• Tanks and Air fills (in store only)

• Once purchased you will be emailed a link from PADI to study at home and upload your theory and knowledge reviews.

• Your Instructor will be in contact and keep you updated on further details of locations and times to meet

   

  Cost: $399 or $449 with equipment rental

  Option to Add Nitrox Course for extra $250 (normally $299)
