PADI Advanced Open Water
Are you a qualified open water diver and want to further your diving experience?
Then the adventures in diving program is for you. Take your diving education to the next level with an advanced scuba diving cousre.
The PADI Advanced courses consist of 5 dives, usually completed over 2 days and one evening for the night dive.
Upon completing the PADI Advanced Open Water Course you will be qualified to dive to a depth of 30m, with a buddy anywhere in the world.
You will need to complete 5 dives to be certiified as a PADI Advanced Open Water diver.
Compulsory Dives
- Deep Dive – Dive to a maximum depth of 30m, and learn the safety procedures
- Navigation Dive – Be shown more skill using a compass, and natural navigation
Elective Dives
- Peak Performance Dive – Improve and learn more about your buoyancy
- Search & Recovery – Lost Something? Lets find it and bring it to the surface
- Night Dive – Be introduced to the aquatic life at dark
- Multilevel & Computer Dive – Get more dive time safely. Learn how to use the wheel and a dive computer
- Boat Dive – Here we will cover procedures when diving from a boat
- Drift Dive – Use those ocean currents to your advantage
Each of these dives can be credited towards the PADI SPECIALTY
There is no classroom theory, but you will get an e-learning link to study online.
Just hand in the knowledge reviews.
Cost: $349 or $379 with equipment rental
Course Outline
- Completed the PADI e-learning online
- Thursday evening: 6.30pm – 8.30pm orientation, Q & A and meet the other divers.
- Friday Night dive (subject to change)
- Saturday 2 dives
- Sunday 2 dives
- Minimum Age: 15 years – 12-14 age group is the Junior Advanced
- Open Water Course
- Maximum Depth: 30m
What you need top bring with you:
- Swimming costume and towel
- All your Scuba Gear
- Torch with back up torch
- Completed PADI e-learning online
- Proof of your Open Water Diver qualification
