Rome D.O.D Black 2023
The Rome D.O.D. is an all-mountain opportunist, equally comfortable ripping through the trees or buttering through the park. New for this season this FullWrap dynamo features our ProFlex ankle straps with AuxTech® and new Fast Entry Straps and BombProof buckles. The D.O.D. is a medium flexing workhorse that steps to the jump line or the steepest lines on the hill with ease.
The Full Wrap Baseplate is made of reinforced nylon with 30% fibreglass and bends around the foot for an extra direct feel.
The binding combines stiffness with feel. With its Asym FlexChannel highback it's very comfortable despite its stiffness and still retains its natural flex.
Rome's highbacks and baseplates are made of up a variety of combined materials. These composites are all designed to flex differently and provide different levels of response and tweakability.
The AuxTech Proflex Ankle Straps and ProGrip Toe Straps are very stretchable and cover your boot in an unprecedented way. The open structure and geometric figures evenly distribute the pressure on your boot, ensuring a good grip. The strap is made out of a single piece, which makes it durable.
The VRod SubBase Pad is not your most comfortable padding but it makes you feel exactly what’s going on underneath your feet. A necessity when closing in on the speed of light.

- AuxTech – Geometric patterns that become thicker perpendicularly when stretched. Think of them as a network of tiny hinges that, when pressure is applied, actually expand and open. This creates a more direct connection to the boot.
- Buckles - Bombproof Buckles – BombProof Buckles are a one-piece forged aluminum construction for better grip and durability. Built with wider stance teeth area for more engagement, this makes for easier ratcheting and increased protection from wear and tear to your ladder straps.
- Fast Entry – New for this season, Rome bindings feature FastEntry Technology for super quick and easy entry into the binding. The pre-curved ladder on the ankle and toe straps are designed to pop open and help keep the straps out of your way while getting your boot into the binding.
